Dorin Attias on the dramatic meeting with Guy Pines: "Tears are streaming down"
Stylist Dorin Attias reveals the defining moment when she encountered Guy Pines, the former employer who fired her, and tells of the emotional closure that led to tears and recovery from the severe trauma.

Stylist Dorin Attias burst into our lives following the glamorous job she received on the television program "Good Evening with Guy Pines" on Channel 12. As is known, in the popular program she led a fashion criticism segment, which she presented until her dismissal in 2021. In December 2022, she sued the Guy Pines production team for wrongful termination.
Today, Attias hosts the podcast "Ash" from "HaPodium", alongside her good friend Yonatan Gal. In a conversation she held with her podcast co-host, Attias told of the defining moment when she realized that her long-standing trauma with Guy Pines and the saga of her employment termination had come to an end.
"The day of Tisha B'Av, I am returning from a workout and Pines and I are neighbors, as is known. All these years I hide in the cheese refrigerator or he makes a U-turn with his bicycle when we encounter each other. I always look at him when we meet. He does not look at me, he always used to cut away. On that day he is riding towards me, it is quiet on the road. He and I are walking. I look at his eyes. Suddenly, his eyes look at me, there is a smile. We smile at each other and nod our heads. This is the first time this has happened in 5 years. My pulse rises and I feel redemption," the star shared with excitement.
Attias noted that the event stirred many emotions in her, and following it she reached the conclusion that she had recovered from that painful wound:
"I go up home, tears are streaming down. I hug myself and I say: 'Baby, you are done with the trauma. You have recovered'. I am not angry, I am not offended, I am not disappointed, I am at peace.
Forget him, he is not a matter at all. Thank you for smiling at me. He wrote me a message, immediately after. He writes to me: 'Maybe it is Tisha B'Av?' One can put a checkmark on this trauma. Thanks to whom? Thanks to me. Everyone told me: 'Come on, it is behind you'. 'What was, was'. No, no, no, let me mourn. Let me be angry, let me feel pain, let me curse. Let me have everything. Only when I walk this whole path, will I eventually meet the recovery, and I met it. Good for me."
