Doral Electrifies NIS 850 Million Hadari Shaan Solar Project in Israel
Doral's NIS 850 million Hadari Shaan solar project in Emek HaMaayanot has been successfully electrified, promising 722 MW capacity and NIS 150 million in annual revenues.
Renewable energy company Doral has announced that its Hadari Shaan solar project, built in the Emek HaMaayanot region with an investment of approximately NIS 850 million, has been successfully electrified, with commercial operation expected in the coming months.
Doral stated that once operational, the Hadari Shaan project, which will provide a capacity of 722 megawatt-hours, is expected to generate electricity equivalent to the consumption of about 50,000 households. The project is projected to yield annual revenues of approximately NIS 150 million for Doral.
The company also noted that the infrastructure established in the area serves as a foundation for future large-scale electricity consumption development. As part of Doral's PVDC strategy, the site has the potential for the future integration of data centers with a capacity of approximately 166 MWIT, combining energy generation with major consumers.
Yoni Hantzis, CEO of the Doral Group, stated that Hadari Shaan is Doral's flagship project in Israel and one of the most significant renewable energy initiatives established in the country, contributing significantly to the national energy supply.
