Doral Energy Launches Israel's Largest Solar Project at Hadrei Shaan
Doral Energy CEO Ofer Stavi highlighted the launch of Israel's largest solar project, 'Hadrei Shaan', spanning 11 kibbutzes in the Beit She'an Valley with a 325-megawatt capacity.

Doral Energy CEO Ofer Stavi announced the launch of the 'Hadrei Shaan' solar project, the largest in Israel, during a recent business conference. The venture spans 11 kibbutzes in the Beit She'an Valley, requiring extensive coordination over a decade since its initial agreement in 2014. The project successfully completed electrification and is now fully operational, marking a milestone in regional renewable energy.
Expansion and Agro-Voltaic Technology
Mid-last month, Doral initiated the second phase of the project, expanding into agro-voltaic technology across 1,700 dunams. This innovative approach combines agricultural cultivation with solar energy generation above fields. Together with the conventional ground-mounted phase, the complex will generate 325 megawatts and incorporate a 1.5-gigawatt storage facility. The agro-voltaic component alone is projected to yield annual revenues of approximately 115 million shekels for the company.
Market Growth and Future Outlook
Stavi addressed regulatory challenges and the integration of data centers alongside peripheral energy production. Doral recently entered the prestigious Tel Aviv 35 index, boasting a market capitalization of 12 billion shekels. The company plans to leverage global models linking remote energy generation with data centers, anticipating strong regulatory support and continued expansion across Israel's periphery.
