Shas Leader Deri Slams 'Neza' Film and Yair Golan Over IDF Remarks
Shas leader Aryeh Deri condemned the film "Neza" and criticized Yair Golan's past remarks regarding IDF soldiers, urging Gadi Eisenkot to cancel any electoral surplus agreements with Golan.
Shas leader Aryeh Deri fiercely condemned the film "Neza", calling it a "false and outrageous plot that slanders IDF soldiers and provides wind in the sails for antisemitic incitement against Israel."
Deri specifically referenced a remark made by Yair Golan, who previously accused IDF soldiers of being "baby killers as a hobby." Deri stated, "When Yair Golan dares to call our soldiers 'baby killers as a hobby,' it is no wonder that this incitement turns into widespread anti-Israel propaganda."
Deri added that "IDF soldiers sacrifice their lives to defend the people of Israel and deserve full backing and deep appreciation from all of us." Concluding his remarks, Deri called on Gadi Eisenkot to cancel his surplus vote agreement with Golan, stating, "It is inconceivable that a former Chief of Staff would lend a hand, even indirectly, to such a severe blow against IDF soldiers."
