The State Attorney's Office filed a prosecutor's statement on Sunday against a delivery worker in his 50s from Tamra, who was arrested on suspicion of committing indecent acts against a teenage girl under the age of 16 in a community in the southern Hebron Hills.

The incident occurred during the afternoon hours several days ago when the suspect arrived in the community to deliver goods. According to the investigation, he took advantage of a moment when he was alone with the teenager, touching her body and committing indecent acts without her consent.

Immediately following the incident, the suspect attempted to flee the scene. A prompt report submitted to the local security coordinator led to his detention at the security gate until Israel Police officers from the Judea District arrived, arrested him, and took him in for questioning.

The court has extended his detention for a second time until Wednesday, November 4, with a formal indictment expected to be filed in the coming days alongside a request to hold him until the end of legal proceedings. Police emphasized that swift reporting and a rapid response enabled the quick apprehension of the suspect.
