The weekly trading summary in the digital currency market points to a prominent negative trend, with most leading coins experiencing price drops over the past seven days.

Leading the negative week is Bitcoin, the central coin in the market, which recorded a weekly decline of 5.05% as its price retreated to $76,923.20, with a total market capitalization of $1.55 trillion.

The red trend did not spare other prominent coins. Ethereum, the second-largest coin, completed a weekly drop of 2.45% with its price set at $2,459.48, and its market cap standing at approximately $300.73 billion. Binance Coin recorded a more moderate weekly retreat of 1.00% and traded at $712.80, with a market cap of $95.00 billion.

Ripple suffered the hardest blow among the major coins, plunging by 7.45% over the past seven days to $1.3255, closing the week with a market cap of $84.19 billion.

In the stablecoin sector, Tether (USDT) recorded a negligible drop of just 0.03% over the past week, standing at $1.0005 with a market cap of $183.38 billion. Meanwhile, USDC maintained complete stability with no weekly change (0.00%) at a price of $1.0003 and a market cap of $74.17 billion.
