The digital currency market is operating today with a mixed trend, as alongside a slight recovery in some of the leading currencies, the weekly picture still points to declines. The data recorded today (Tuesday) indicates a market that is struggling to generate a clear direction, with even the major currencies moving in relatively narrow ranges during the day.

Bitcoin, the largest and central currency in the market, is trading at a price of $77,948.8, with a market cap of about $1.57 trillion. Over the last 24 hours, the currency recorded a marginal increase of 0.05%; however, in a weekly calculation, it is still down by 1.17%.

Ethereum is also struggling to recover. The second-largest currency is trading at a price of $2,446.05 and its market cap stands at about $296.43 billion. In the last day, it lost 0.22%, while in the last seven days, a decline of 0.58% was recorded.

In the stablecoin sector, Tether USDT remains very close to the rate of one dollar, with a price of $1.0000 and a market cap of about $183.30 billion. The daily change stands at an increase of 0.01%, while in the last week, a decline of 0.03% was recorded.

XRP is the currency that shows the most prominent gap between daily and weekly performance. It is trading at $1.3752, with a market cap of $86.62 billion, after a daily increase of 0.99%. Despite the recovery, in a weekly calculation, it is a significant decline of 6.65%.

BNB is also trading in a negative trend. Its price stands at $685.90 and its market cap reaches $91.44 billion. The currency fell by 0.19% in the day and by 1.24% during the week.

USDC continues to maintain stability around the dollar, with a price of $1.0003 and a market cap of $73.45 billion. The changes recorded in it are negligible, with a decline of 0.01% in both the daily and weekly range.

Overall, the data points to a market that is in a waiting period. Bitcoin manages to maintain relative stability, but the weekly declines in most major currencies indicate that the positive trend has not yet established itself. XRP, with a weekly decline of 6.65%, is currently concentrating the main pressure among the major currencies.
