Crown Iris Cruise Ship Evacuated Following Bomb Threat During Filming
The Mano Maritime cruise ship Crown Iris was evacuated Tuesday evening due to a bomb threat, temporarily disrupting the cast and crew of a Kan 11 television series filming on board.

The cruise ship Crown Iris, operated by Mano Maritime, was evacuated earlier on Tuesday evening following a bomb threat. Among the approximately 1,500 passengers and crew members who disembarked were actress Dana Modan, actor Lior Ashkenazi, and the production team of the upcoming Kan 11 series Linda and Udi, which has been filming on board.
Production sources speaking to local media sought to downplay the incident, explaining that filming was not underway at the time and that the situation was less dramatic than it initially appeared. According to the staff, the vessel was docked at an island when passengers were instructed not to reboard due to a security alert regarding a potential explosive device.
Following thorough inspections by security personnel that ruled out any danger, passengers were permitted to return to the vessel. Filming for the television series is scheduled to resume as planned, and the cast and crew are expected to return to Israel within two days.
