Coca-Cola Shifts Strategy: New Packaging Formats for the Holidays
Ahead of the Tishrei holiday season, Coca-Cola Israel is expanding its product range by introducing new six-packs featuring 1.75-liter and 2-liter bottles.

Ahead of the Tishrei holidays and the family meal season, Coca-Cola Israel is launching a new consumer initiative, expanding its range of packaging in retail chains. Aiming to provide a targeted solution for increased home consumption, the company is introducing two new six-pack configurations for the Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero brands.
A significant change in this rollout is that these specific bottle volumes will not be sold individually, but will be available exclusively as part of closed packages. The first addition is a six-pack of 1.75-liter bottles, released as a limited edition for the holiday period with festive branding. Alongside this, the company is launching a six-pack of 2-liter bottles, which will become a permanent fixture on store shelves.
These two new options join the traditional 1.5-liter six-pack, which remains available. The company explains that this expansion is intended to offer consumers greater flexibility based on the number of guests and personal consumption habits.
This marketing move comes against the backdrop of impressive global momentum for Coca-Cola. In July, the company reported second-quarter revenues of approximately 13.4 billion dollars, an increase of 6% to 7% compared to the same period last year, exceeding analyst forecasts of 13.16 billion dollars.
Adjusted earnings per share also beat expectations, reaching 0.97 dollars. Following these positive results, Coca-Cola raised its annual growth guidance, now anticipating 5% organic revenue growth and a 9% to 10% increase in earnings per share.
