Channel 16 is expanding to yes+, STING+, and Partner TV+ starting October 4, bringing its flagship news hosted by Yaakov Ahilon and original content to new audiences across Israel.
Channel 16 is expanding its reach: Starting October 4, the channel will broadcast to yes+, STING+, and Partner TV+ subscribers at no extra cost on channel 16. At the core of the channel's programming is its flagship evening news edition hosted by Yaakov Ahilon, alongside current affairs, original productions, entertainment, music, humor, and human interest stories.
The channel blends news and current affairs with diverse television content, emphasizing fresh formats and a direct connection with viewers. As part of this expansion, Channel 16 has also acquired several original yes productions to enrich its schedule. Having launched in June, the channel is already available on FreeTV and Cellcom TV, with the yes integration marking a major milestone.
Alongside Yaakov Ahilon, Channel 16 features prominent figures such as Zvika Hadar, Maor Zaguri, and Yael Bar Zohar. The channel also integrates innovative technologies, including SAY16—an AI-based model allowing viewers to share feedback in real time.
