Cellebrite Announces Strategic Reincorporation Move to the United States
Global digital forensics firm Cellebrite has announced plans to reincorporate as a US entity by 2027, aiming to boost investor appeal and market growth.

Cellebrite, a prominent global cyber intelligence and digital forensics company, has announced a major strategic shift to reincorporate as a US-based entity. The transition is projected to be finalized by the first half of 2027, subject to shareholder approvals and regulatory clearances.
Founded in Israel prior to the year 2000 by Avi Yablonka, Yaron Baratz, and Yuval Apelallo, Cellebrite spent more than two decades operating as a private firm before going public on NASDAQ in 2021 via a SPAC merger. The company is widely known for developing advanced digital forensics equipment capable of extracting data from various smartphones, utilized by law enforcement agencies worldwide.
Strategic Restructuring Under New Leadership
The restructuring announcement comes under the leadership of Shib Ramji, who assumed the role of CEO last month, succeeding Yossi Carmil who retired in 2024 after two decades at the helm.
"We believe that reincorporating in the US will position us better to drive growth across all of our key customer segments in our largest geographic market, as well as with other large governmental customers outside the US," stated CEO Shib Ramji.
Furthermore, the chief executive emphasized that the move will enhance Cellebrite's appeal to institutional investors by facilitating inclusion in major stock indices.
Impact on Local Operations
Despite the corporate migration to the United States, company officials confirmed that the move will not affect the operations of Cellebrite's primary research and development center located in Petah Tikva. The facility is expected to remain the company's largest global site, preserving its deep foundational roots in the Israeli high-tech ecosystem.
