Caesarstone Delays Q3 Results Amid Legal Settlement Discussions
Caesarstone delays its third-quarter financial results to November 11 amid ongoing legal settlement discussions. The announcement follows a major California court verdict and expiration of key shareholder agreements.

Caesarstone, the Israeli manufacturer of engineered quartz surfaces managed by Yossi Shiran, has postponed the release of its third-quarter financial results by a week to November 11. The company stated that the delay is intended to allow additional time for discussions regarding legal settlements, though it provided no further details.
The postponement comes on the heels of mounting financial and legal pressures. Last week, Caesarstone reported that a jury in a California lawsuit found the company liable, awarding $67.3 million in damages, with Caesarstone's share amounting to $46.5 million. The lawsuits allege that fabricators contracted severe respiratory illnesses, including silicosis, due to exposure to silica dust while cutting and installing the company's products.
Shareholder Agreement and Board Changes
Simultaneously, corporate filings revealed that the shareholder agreement between Kibbutz Sdot Yam and Tene Capital has expired. The pact previously stipulated joint voting and designated Dr. Ariel Halperin, representing Tene Capital, as chairman of the board. An updated shareholder meeting notice confirmed that Halperin will stand for re-election following a shareholder request, while another candidate, Kibbutz business manager Aviv Ben Horin, has withdrawn his candidacy.
Kibbutz Sdot Yam currently holds a 30.2% stake in Caesarstone, while Tene Capital owns 10.4%. Listed on Nasdaq, the company's market capitalization has plummeted to $59 million, a steep decline from its peak of $2.5 billion in 2012.
