Arsenal Suffers Major Blow as Bukayo Saka Faces Long Injury Layoff
Arsenal face a massive blow as Bukayo Saka is sidelined for up to eight weeks with a thigh injury sustained against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal have suffered a major blow in both the Premier League title race and the Champions League following a severe thigh injury sustained by Bukayo Saka during their 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich. According to BBC reports, the 25-year-side winger is expected to miss between six to eight weeks of action.
Injury Concerns and Diagnosis
Saka was forced off the pitch at the Allianz Arena, and medical staff have faced difficulties in diagnosing the full extent of the damage due to a significant fluid buildup around the injured muscle. Further MRI scans are scheduled to provide a definitive recovery timeline, though initial estimates point to a lengthy layoff.
"We need a few more tests and specialist opinions," said manager Mikel Arteta. "When a player has to leave the pitch, struggles to walk without pain, and has limited movement, it is never a good sign. We need to be patient to give a final evaluation."
Impact on Arsenal's Campaign
The absence of Saka deprives Arteta of a key attacking outlet. The winger has scored four goals in 11 appearances this season. With other attacking options like Christos Tzolis also sidelined, Arteta will look to Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze, and 16-year-old Max Dowman to fill the void on the flanks.
