October brings a wave of pink packaging across Israel as brands launch campaigns for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From coffee capsules to snack bars and furniture, companies are using distinctive pink designs to encourage early detection and support those affected by the disease.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed every October worldwide, originating from a 1985 campaign in the United States with the pink ribbon becoming its universally recognized symbol in the early 1990s. The month serves to promote early detection and support patients.

This year, Strauss's Elite 09 coffee capsules will launch in a special pink edition in collaboration with the One in Nine association. A QR code on the packaging will direct users to the By Your Side program, which connects patients with recovered volunteers, alongside a special event at the Elite coffee factory in Lod.

The popular Pesek Zman snack bar is also joining the initiative for the fourth consecutive year with special packaging carrying the message Take a Break, encouraging women to prioritize their health. Meanwhile, Keter continues its Sit a Moment project with pink chairs featuring QR codes for early detection information, donating proceeds to the One in Nine and Gamani associations.
