Bitcorp Capital, led by Ruby Rivlin, has announced two major strategic moves, including the sale of its Airtouch operations in India for 14 million shekels and securing an expanded digital asset license.

Strengthening Capital and Streamlining Operations

The 14 million shekel transaction significantly bolsters the financial standing of Bitcorp Capital, which operates as a blockchain-based financial services infrastructure company. The divestment of the Indian operations allows the firm to shed non-core activities and inject fresh capital into its balance sheet, enhancing overall financial flexibility.

"Selling the activity in India for 14 million shekels is a business move designed to remove non-core operations from the group, strengthen our cash reserves, and allow us to focus on developing future growth engines," said Yudi Lazar, co-founder and COO of Bitcorp Capital.

Regulatory Milestone for Proxybit

Simultaneously, Proxybit, a subsidiary controlled by Rivlin's firm, has been granted an expanded financial services license for digital assets by the Capital Market Authority. This regulatory approval places the company among a select group of entities in Israel authorized to offer comprehensive digital asset services, including buying, selling, and secure asset transfers.

Bitcorp aims to bridge the gap between traditional financial systems and the emerging digital economy. The group is advancing initiatives such as digital shekel development (ILSD) and asset-backed lending solutions, establishing a robust regulatory and technological foundation for long-term growth.
