New Regional Emergency Hub Approved in Western Binyamin
A new regional emergency hub for police, MDA, and fire services will be built in western Binyamin. The 75-dunam project aims to enhance security and infrastructure for growing local communities.

A new regional emergency hub uniting police, MDA (Magen David Adom), and fire services will be established in western Binyamin. The plan for the complex between Talmon and Neria entered into force on Sunday, allowing development to proceed with an investment estimated at tens of millions of shekels.
The facility aims to bring security and rescue services closer to the communities of western Binyamin, providing forces with a permanent operational base and dedicated infrastructure. Located east of Route 450, the site is designed to ensure easy access to local settlements and main traffic arteries while minimizing disruption to daily civilian life.
Regional Development and Infrastructure
Spanning approximately 75 dunams, the comprehensive plan extends beyond the emergency center. It incorporates the relocation of the regional canine unit, allocation of land for an educational institution or yeshiva, and the establishment of a regional cemetery for neighboring communities.
"This is major news for the security of the residents and the development of western Binyamin. The new emergency center will provide security and rescue forces with appropriate infrastructure for their operations," said Binyamin Regional Council head Israel Gantz.
Next Steps
The Binyamin Council's engineering department led the planning process through to its formal implementation. While the plan is now officially in effect, the council has not yet released a specific timeline for the commencement of construction or the source of funding.
