Israeli security forces arrested two residents of Bethlehem in their 20s and 30s during a joint operation conducted by the Judea and Samaria District Police and the IDF Etzion Brigade. According to police intelligence, one of the suspects is affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, while the second individual was detained on suspicion of possessing illegal weapons.

During targeted raids on several locations in Bethlehem, forces discovered a loaded shotgun, military uniforms, and technological equipment. Both suspects were transferred to the Maale Adumim police station for questioning and were subsequently remanded in custody on charges of unauthorized weapons possession and holding military gear.

In a parallel operation in the Hebron area, Judea and Samaria district detectives seized another shotgun and a large quantity of ammunition. A 30-year-old suspect linked to the cache was arrested and taken to the Hebron police station for further interrogation.

Police emphasized that ongoing counter-terror and anti-weapons operations will continue across the West Bank to target individuals associated with extremist groups and dismantle illegal weapons networks.
