Minister of National Security and Otzma Yehudit leader Itamar Ben Gvir hinted on Friday that his party will demand the Justice Ministry portfolio for MK Tali Gotliv in the next government. Speaking at a cultural event in Rishon LeZion hosted by Yossi Yehoshua, Ben Gvir addressed the disqualification request filed against Balad chairman Sami Abu Shehadeh.

"The man literally supports the October 7 massacre," Ben Gvir stated. "Yesterday I heard that the Attorney General opposes his disqualification; this is the same adviser who previously said I should be ousted from my role. Oust me, and let Sami Abu Shehadeh into the Knesset? This is absolute madness."

Ben Gvir also criticized Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas, recalling that Abbas refused to condemn the killing of IDF soldiers when challenged from the Knesset podium. "These people cannot be in the Knesset. Not because they are Arabs, but because they are terror supporters," he concluded.
