Beitar Jerusalem has submitted a formal purchase offer of €450,000 to Independiente Medellín for 28-year-old midfielder Alexis Serna, alongside a sell-on percentage clause, after the Colombian club rejected a previous loan proposal with lower financial terms. Additionally, Beitar put forward a higher-value loan offer with a purchase option. The Colombian side is expected to provide a final response today, after which Beitar will advance its transfer strategy with the goal of signing two players before the transfer window closes.
Should the deal for Serna fall through, an alternative option involving Yarin Levi could become realistic only if Beitar approaches Maccabi Haifa and agrees to include a significant player in a trade deal alongside financial compensation. Maccabi Haifa will not negotiate Levi's departure without receiving another player in return, while Hapoel Be'er Sheva has also made inquiries and may enter the race by offering players to Haifa.
