Journalist Barak Batsh has announced his move to the new Channel 16, where he will serve as the network's diplomatic correspondent.
A New Professional Chapter
Batsh, who previously focused on foreign news coverage, is now transitioning to the diplomatic beat. In a statement published online, Batsh wrote: "I am excited to announce my joining as the diplomatic correspondent for Channel 16." He added that the times are busy with headlines, expressing his hope to bring the most accurate picture to viewers and readers.
"It is no secret that Israeli media is experiencing a period of significant changes, and I am glad to take part in the new Channel 16," Batsh noted.
Career Background
This transition comes just days after Batsh concluded his tenure at i24NEWS after roughly a year and a half. Prior to that, he spent over two years as a foreign correspondent for Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) before moving to television in 2025.
