Bagel Cafe Launches 8 Million Shekel Expansion to Reach 20 Branches
Israeli cafe chain Bagel Cafe is investing 8 million shekels to open 8 new branches, expanding its total footprint to 20 locations nationwide by mid-2027.

Israeli cafe chain Bagel Cafe has announced an 8 million shekel expansion plan to open 8 new branches across the country. Three of the new locations have already opened in Kiryat Ono, Hadera, and Petah Tikva, while five more are currently under construction and expected to join the network by mid-2027. Upon completion, the chain will operate a total of 20 branches.
Strategic Expansion and New Locations
The upcoming branches are slated to open at the TLV Fashion Mall in Tel Aviv, the HaElef complex in Rishon LeZion, Beersheba, Beit Shemesh, and Holon. This growth will allow the chain to strengthen its footprint in additional urban centers alongside its existing operations in commercial hubs.
Founded over 14 years ago by spouses Tomer and Shimrit Tuti, Bagel Cafe specializes in American-style bagels baked on-site and served with various fillings and toppings. The menu also features sandwiches, salads, quiches, breakfast options, and a variety of beverages, alongside a delicatessen and American-style pastry offerings under strict kosher certification.
Business Model and Future Menu
The chain's operational model focuses primarily on mall kiosks equipped with customer seating areas. This compact format enables efficient operations in relatively small spaces compared to traditional large cafes, serving as the foundation for their ongoing retail strategy.
"The expansion stems from high consumer demand for our products, particularly our on-site preparation in front of customers," noted co-owner Tomer Tuti.
Alongside physical expansion, the chain plans to introduce a new menu featuring protein-focused and healthy dining options. Customers can also purchase takeaway items, including fresh bagels, cheeses, salads by weight, and cookies, muffins, and other American-style baked goods to enjoy at home.
