Deni Avdija Sparks Portland Past Phoenix With 21 Points and 12 Assists

Deni Avdija delivered on both ends of the court during Portland's victory over Phoenix, dropping 21 points and 12 assists while standing his ground against Dillon Brooks. During the matchup, Brooks mocked the Israeli forward near the free-throw line, claiming he attempted to draw a foul through an exaggerated fall. Avdija immediately fired back, telling Brooks that he is the one acting on the court.

The verbal exchange added extra tension to the game, highlighting Brooks' reputation for antagonizing opponents. However, Avdija answered where it mattered most, leading the Trail Blazers to their sixth win in their first seven games of the season. Damian Lillard added 25 points as Portland extended its impressive early-season run in Phoenix.
