Israeli Software Firm Atera Lays Off 10% of Workforce in Restructuring
Israeli software firm Atera is laying off about 10% of its 450 employees in an organizational restructuring to refocus on its AI-driven IT platform and Robin technology.

Israeli software company Atera is laying off approximately 10% of its workforce as part of an organizational restructuring aimed at improving efficiency. Founded in 2011 by Gil Pekelman and Itai Sela, the company has developed a platform that integrates artificial intelligence agents for IT management and autonomous troubleshooting.
In recent years, Atera expanded its operations in the AI sector, notably introducing Robin, a technology designed to detect and resolve computing issues without human intervention. The company currently employs about 450 people worldwide, operating primarily in international markets including the United States and Europe, and has previously raised capital from investors such as American investment firm K1 Investment Management.
A company spokesperson addressed the measure in an official statement:
"Atera is implementing organizational changes designed to improve efficiency, focus resources on strategic priorities, and support continued growth and market leadership. As part of this process, the company is reducing its headcount while maintaining investment in its IT management platform and autonomous IT technology Robin. We deeply appreciate the immense contribution of departing employees and remain committed to supporting them during this transition period."
Despite the layoffs, Atera continues to advance its core AI-driven IT solutions to maintain its competitive edge in the global software market.
