In recent days, questions have arisen regarding whether the National Insurance Institute would advance the payment of long-term benefits for August, as the fixed payment date of 28.8 falls on a Friday this year. Rumors about an early payment caused confusion among recipients. Consequently, the National Insurance Institute clarified today that long-term benefits will be paid on their due date, Friday, 28.8, without any advancement.
Benefits to be paid on this date include general disability, old-age, survivor, disabled child, special services, mobility, work injury, alimony, rehabilitation, nursing, and Prisoners of Zion benefits.
September Payment Schedule
In September, early payments are expected due to the Tishrei holidays:

Unemployment benefits and income support, originally scheduled for 14.9, will be advanced by 6 days and paid on 8.9 for Rosh Hashanah.

Old-age, survivor, disability, disabled child, special services, mobility, work injury, alimony, rehabilitation, nursing, and Prisoners of Zion benefits, originally scheduled for 28.9, will be advanced to 22.9 for the Sukkot holiday.
The National Insurance Institute noted that these adjustments are being made to accommodate the holiday schedule.
