This morning, Friday, Amit took the expected step of a newlywed and updated her last name — if not on her ID card, then at least on Instagram, where she is now called Daniel Amit Damari. Will Emily also add the name Amit soon?
As mentioned, the hostage survivor and food blogger got married last Thursday. "Only love will win," wrote Amit in an emotional post she uploaded to her Instagram account, alongside the first couple's documentation, while she was in a wedding dress designed by Uria Azran, and Damari in a white suit. The two entered the chuppah to loud applause and to the sounds of the song "At" by the late Ishai Levi. The couple revealed the details of the big day of their lives, when Damari, a die-hard Maccabi Tel Aviv fan, ruled that there would be no entry for anyone wearing red.
