After leaving Channel 14, Eden Harel reveals: "It will not remain in the shadows"
After ending her role as a presenter on Channel 14 and concurrently participating in the TV show "MasterChef", Eden Harel shares the hormonal and physical changes she is experiencing following her entry into menopause.
Media personality Eden Harel first became famous in the 90s as a rock girl and presenter for MTV Europe and Israel. Later, she began a significant process of religious repentance, married Oded Menashe, with whom she hosted TV programs on Channel 14. Today, she serves as a social activist and internet personality, and she stars in the TV show "MasterChef: Dream Team" on Channel 12.
In a new video uploaded to Instagram, Harel addressed her followers regarding the changes she is experiencing after turning 50. As is known, this period is characterized by physical changes. Usually, this is the stage where menopause begins, accompanied by hormonal shifts and phenomena such as hot flashes or changes in metabolic rate.
"I want to talk about something that people have started to discuss a little bit, but in my opinion, not enough: menopause. I am 50 years old and, as they say, it hit me with full force. At first, I didn't understand what was happening to me and what these symptoms were. I am irritable, I can lash out at everyone and shout at home. I really started not to recognize myself. Waking up at night, not being able to go back to sleep, a cute little belly that sits there happily on my stomach," shared Eden Harel.
The Israeli star addressed her followers with a sharp and clear message, announcing that she intends to talk about this phenomenon extensively. "What is this? What is this thing? Am I alone in this? I think we need to talk about it more. Tell me what symptoms you have. I am going to talk about these things; it will not remain in the shadows."
