Anthropic Reports $33.24 Billion Revenue and Expands IPO Prospectus
Anthropic reported a 1,200% surge in nine-month revenue to $33.24 billion alongside a net loss of $104 billion in an amended IPO prospectus filed with the SEC.

Artificial intelligence giant Anthropic has released updated financial figures in an amendment to its IPO prospectus filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, offering investors a comprehensive view of its business operations. The company reported revenue of $33.24 billion for the nine months ended September 30, marking a 1,200% surge compared to the same period last year.
Net loss for the period totaled $104 billion, compared to a loss of $25.1 billion in the corresponding period in 2025. Anthropic advanced toward what is expected to be a historic initial public offering, having published its highly anticipated IPO prospectus last week, which initially covered only financial data for the first half of the year.
In the amended filing, Anthropic disclosed that it has entered into purchase commitments and lease agreements totaling approximately $895.4 billion, noting that "almost all of it is related to computing resources and infrastructure." The company added that computing and infrastructure expenses grew by $14.4 billion during the nine-month period, representing a 329% increase year-over-year.
Anthropic noted that as its computing capacity and infrastructure expand, the associated expenses increase proportionally. Founded five years ago, the company is widely known for its Claude family of artificial intelligence models, serving primarily corporate clients in a capital-intensive sector driven by complex hardware requirements.
