Amos Luzon Increases Market Stake as Shareholder Meeting Approaches
Israeli businessman Amos Luzon invested about 440,000 NIS in open-market shares across Luzon Group, Luzon-Ronson, and Luzon Credit ahead of a shareholder vote on compensation.

Amos Luzon Expands Holdings with Fresh Stock Purchases
Israeli businessman Amos Luzon continues to increase his stake in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, investing approximately 440,000 NIS in open-market share purchases. This move follows a continuous wave of buying over the past week across his three public companies: Luzon Group, Luzon-Ronson, and Luzon Credit.
Luzon directly acquired 60,000 additional shares of Luzon Group at an average price of 4.75 NIS per share, totaling roughly 285,000 NIS. This brings his direct holding in the company to 57.41%, following a purchase of 40,000 shares earlier in the week at 5.03 NIS per share.
Expanding Real Estate and Credit Portfolios
Concurrently, the holding company purchased 5,000 shares of Polish residential developer Luzon-Ronson at 30.91 NIS per share, amounting to approximately 155,000 NIS and raising the group's stake to 71.84%.
"Luzon Group, traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of approximately 2.24 billion NIS, operates in construction, infrastructure, and real estate development in Israel and Poland, alongside a significant holding in the Dorad power plant."
Institutional investors such as Mor Investment House (about 12%) and Menora Mivtachim (about 6%) also hold stakes in the company. In the credit sector, the group holds approximately 28% of Luzon Credit (formerly the P2P platform Tarya), which is traded at a value of about 220 million NIS.
Upcoming Shareholder Vote on Management Fees
Luzon's market purchases coincide with an upcoming shareholder meeting scheduled for October, which will vote on updating his terms of office and compensation for another three years. The proposal suggests increasing his monthly management fee from 260,000 NIS to 360,000 NIS, reflecting a roughly 38% increase in employer cost.
