Amira Buzaglo undergoes a significant physical transformation at 45: "I was thrilled with myself"
The star casting director and one of the most recognizable figures in the entertainment industry has undergone an incredible process that will leave many of you shocked. In a candid interview, she talks about hormones, fears of surgery, and the pain: "I'm already satisfied" | All the details

Star casting director Amira Buzaglo, one of the most well-known and prominent figures in the Israeli entertainment industry, is recording a dramatic transformation — one that will make it difficult for you to recognize her today.
In a comprehensive and candid interview with "La'Isha" magazine, Buzaglo delved into the significant process she underwent and admitted to the heavy fears that accompanied her along the way:
"I was dying of fear. I wavered on the date, I scheduled the surgery three times and cancelled."
Despite the fears, the results speak for themselves. Within just half a year, Buzaglo shed 51 kilograms — and there is more to come.
"I am already satisfied, but I would be happy to lose a little more, let's say another 15 kilos is enough for me," Buzaglo said. "There are women for whom my current weight would be very high, but I feel like Kate Moss."
This step surprised many, as throughout her years in the industry, Buzaglo was one of the prominent voices against the delegitimization of plus sizes, and even posed for plus-size and lingerie campaigns.
"All those years I was fine, I was thrilled with myself," she explained the background for the change. "I remember once during a shoot I looked in the mirror and said 'Oh, how I've gained weight, 2-3 kilos less and I'm set,' and someone there laughed: 'Are you serious? How much can a person be thrilled with themselves?'"
However, in recent years, the physical change took its toll: "My body changed. I went through fertility treatments, many hormones, I had seven pregnancies and two births. I was no longer comfortable in my own sizes."
Buzaglo clarifies that she continued to be an active mother who goes on rides with the children at the amusement park, but the physiology did its part: "In the end, it became difficult for me because of the weight. One day I felt pain in my foot, and the orthopedist didn't see any problem."
The nagging pain accompanied her for a long time, until the turning point: "I walked with the pain for two years, and the moment I lost weight, it disappeared. It just says how much load was on me."
