7 years after the scandal: Kylie Jenner closes the circle alongside her partner Timothée Chalamet

One of the most turbulent scandals of the Kardashian family in 2019 became a distant memory this past weekend. Kylie Jenner (29) arrived on Saturday in Malibu, California, with her partner Timothée Chalamet (30), for the wedding of her former best friend Jordyn Woods (28) to her partner of the last six years, New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns (30). In footage from the event, the reality star and her actor partner were among the guests at the star-studded wedding, alongside Justin and Hailey Bieber. Jenner, who arrived in a black dress, was documented standing with a wide smile while Chalamet held her, looking no less pleased than she was.
Let us recall that seven years ago, Woods was caught in a publicized cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson, the ex-partner of Kylie's sister, Khloé Kardashian. An affair that tore the two's friendship to shreds and became a central story in both the family reality show and on social media. In 2019, Jordyn and Khloé's partner at the time caused a stir when it was revealed that the two had made out at a party. Later, Woods admitted that she shared a kiss with Thompson during a stormy interview on the show Red Table Talk, with Jada Pinkett Smith:
"I was drunk. But I wasn't in a state where I wasn't aware of what was happening. I know where I was. But on the way out of Tristan's house, he kissed me. There was no passion, there was nothing... it was a kiss on the lips. No tongue, no making out. Nothing. I also don't think he's to blame, because I allowed myself to get to this situation... I was in shock."
To that interview, Khloé responded: "You are the reason my family broke up." But it seems that this past Saturday, all of that was a thing of the past. Kylie smiled from ear to ear while mingling among the guests alongside her partner—coincidentally a die-hard Knicks fan, where they also watched the proceedings from the front row.
The public support and the official end of the bitter conflict come after the two, who first met in 2012, reunited for a dinner in the summer of 2023, four years after the scandal shook their long-standing friendship. In September 2024, they already shared a joint photo of them spending an evening together. The two were once almost inseparable, living together and working side by side on various projects. The affair also led to a breakup between Khloé and Thompson. The two later separated for good after he was involved in another cheating scandal in December 2019, when it was revealed he had brought a child into the world while Khloé was pregnant with their second child via IVF. Today, they maintain a friendly relationship and are raising their daughter True (8) and Tatum (4).
