202 cups of coffee per hour, 0 mistakes: The robotic barista that broke the Guinness World Record

The "7Fresh" chain has inaugurated a fully autonomous branch in a prestigious complex in Beijing, operating 24/7 without human intervention. With a preparation time of less than 30 seconds per cup, 1% accuracy in sweetness levels, and a new Guinness World Record on opening day, it seems that AI and advanced robotics are turning even morning coffee into an exact science.

The future is here, and it smells like fresh espresso: the "7Fresh" chain has inaugurated in Beijing the world's first autonomous coffee shop based on artificial intelligence and advanced robotics, operating 24 hours a day by a single robot — and without human presence. Already on its opening day, the branch located in the prestigious "Galaxy Soho" complex set a new Guinness World Record, after the robot on-site managed to serve no less than 202 cups of coffee in just one hour.

The entire process — from grinding the beans, through extraction and mixing, to serving the cup to the collection bay — is carried out completely independently by robotic arms. The preparation time for a single cup of coffee stands at less than 30 seconds, while the system guarantees a constant quality standard without human errors.

1% accuracy in sweetness levels

Although it is a robot, customers enjoy a high level of customization. Through the self-ordering system, consumers can determine the level of sweetness and coffee concentration with an accuracy of a single percent (from 1% to 100%).

The launch attracted a large crowd of curious onlookers, including foreign tourists. One visitor, a tourist from Italy, tasted the coffee and was pleasantly surprised:

"The taste is simply excellent and authentic," he complimented the machine, and even suggested that this Chinese technology should expand overseas.

On social media, a wave of demands has already begun from users to open similar branches in other cities in China and around the world.

Coffee tailored to health status

The technology behind the venture solves some of the most painful problems in the restaurant industry: high labor costs, instability in product quality, and limitations in operating hours. With the help of "Embodied Intelligence," the robots are capable of performing complex actions that were previously reserved only for skilled baristas.

And while you drink, the robots are already thinking about your next drink: at 7Fresh, they plan to launch soon an AI-based recommendation service, which will analyze the customer's health status and offer them the recommended amount of caffeine for them personally. It seems that in Beijing, morning coffee has officially become an exact science.
