Taxi Driver

Three young men are accused of attempting to rob a taxi driver they summoned on Highway 31. While the vehicle was moving at 100 km/h, the suspects beat and choked the driver. To stop the assault and protect other road users, the driver steered the taxi into a concrete barrier.

The driver is a 42-year-old resident of Ma'ale Adumim. He had already been caught 8 times in the past. This time, it was decided to file an indictment against him and a request for detention until the end of proceedings.
