Master Sergeant (res.) Tamir Vaknin and Major (res.) Harel Birenstock fell yesterday due to an explosive device in Lebanon. "He knew it was important to serve the country and do reserve duty," said Yoav, Tamir's brother. "He was in Gaza for seven months, served in Syria and Lebanon." Regarding their last conversation, he said: "We laughed as always, he made sure I would be calm."
