The British company Welink, operator of Portugal's largest solar power plant, has entered insolvency proceedings. The collapse follows a decline in electricity prices, severe malfunctions, and a 143 million euro lawsuit from a Chinese contractor.

Econergy, traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, has signed a financing agreement totaling approximately 229 million euros for an energy project in Europe, which features a strong revenue forecast.
