Neve Yamin

Against the backdrop of a financial dispute and repeated demands for money, a 36-year-old resident of Neve Yamin is accused of creating an improvised arrow from an iron rod and shooting his father from a range of about four meters. The arrow hit his neck and stopped near the spinal cord and major blood vessels. After he collapsed, his son told him: "Say it was an accident."

A severe violent incident occurred on Thursday in the Sharon region, where a 65-year-old man was critically wounded after being struck by a fishing harpoon. Emergency services and police responded to the scene at a residence in Neve Yamin, and the victim was subsequently transported to Meir Hospital in serious condition.
