We all know this moment: you enter the bathroom, look in the mirror, and discover a dark and annoying stain on the edges. You take a cloth, spray generously with cleaning agent, and start scrubbing vigorously, but the stain simply refuses to disappear.

A mirror is supposed to do a simple thing: show us what is in front of it. However, a new study recently published in the scientific journal Nature Communications presents a possibility that sounds almost like science fiction — a mirror capable of intentionally showing something completely different.
