Kiryat Ata

Ironi Kiryat Ata edged Hapoel HaEmek 85:86 in the opening round of Israeli basketball, fueled by a career-high 26 points from Tomer Asiag.

Israel's Ministry of Health and Environmental Protection halted classes near the Haifa oil refineries due to abnormal benzene spikes, ordering maintenance works to stop.

The Haifa District Court ordered Kiryat Ata to amend an arnona order after ruling a nursery's 250% tax hike discriminatory. The annual bill had surged from 31,000 to 4.85 million shekels.
