Representatives of the new faction arrived at the home of the Karlin Rebbe with the goal of gaining support ahead of the election campaign. The Rebbe clarified that he does not intend to officially support them, but sources in the Hasidic community noted that he did not dismiss them outright. The assessment is that Karlin voters may now shift their votes to the new party.
