The 26-year-old Nigerian center (2.11m), who led the Greek league in blocks two years ago and previously played under Patrick Ewing at Georgetown, joins Dan Katsir's squad following a season with Cholet in the Champions League.

The club was unhappy with the performance in the first 60 minutes of the Toto Cup ("We must not lose like this in the first home game"), fears that the boos Zasno received will further undermine his confidence, and is convinced that the first team will deliver: "We need to raise the level ahead of the league, it is significant that the new signings adapt quickly."
