Senior military officials from Uganda and Burundi visited Israel last week to discuss the possibility of deploying soldiers in the Gaza Strip as part of the planned international force, AP reported today (Monday).

Benjamin Netanyahu's office has denied reports regarding the entry of an international force into the Gaza Strip, despite a cabinet vote approving the measure last month. Officials maintain that no reconstruction will occur before the disarmament of Hamas.
