Heart Transplant

A phone call from Cyprus triggered a medical and logistical operation against the clock: a team from Beilinson was flown to Nicosia, an air ambulance was located at the last minute, and the heart of a young donor was brought to Israel. Less than a day and a half later, the transplant was completed.
