Hapoel Nir David

A leader on the court, manager of the kibbutz fishing branch, and a "legendary lawn mower," Dani Gofer, who led Kibbutz Nir David to the National League in the 1960s, has passed away. He is remembered not only as a gifted point guard with "golden hands" but as a true pioneer of the kibbutz movement in the early years of the state.
