Gashau Ayale

The Israeli runners, who secured team gold at the European Athletics Championships, alongside individual bronze medalist Gashau Ayale, received a warm welcome upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport.

For the second consecutive time and the third in its history, Israeli runners finished in first place in the team standings with a cumulative time of 6:28:37. Ayale finished third with a time of 2:19:21 and reached the podium.
