Atrial Fibrillation

A broad study published in the medical journal BMJ Medicine challenges the benefits of regular fish oil intake for healthy individuals. Following 415,000 participants over 12 years, researchers found that in cardiac-healthy patients, supplement use was linked to a 13% increased risk of atrial fibrillation and a 5% increased risk of stroke.
