On the eve of Yom Kippur, hundreds of ZAKA volunteers gathered at the Re'im parking lot, the site of the Nova festival massacre, to recite Slichot prayers. The emotional gathering took place at the location where volunteers worked tirelessly during the hardest days following the October 7 attacks.
Accompanied by singer Chaim Israel, the volunteers wrapped in tallitot wept as they prayed in the place of immense tragedy. The ceremony served as a powerful symbol of unity, remembrance, and hope for the Jewish people.
Amid the painful memories, silent prayers were offered for the victims, alongside appeals for forgiveness, healing, and comfort for all of Israel, hoping for a year of peace and good tidings.
