Yotam Zimri on the situation between the USA and Iran: 'The plot is not moving, it's boring'

During the program 'The Patriots' on Channel 14, a heated discussion developed in the studio regarding the current political and security situation. Yotam Zimri compared the situation to a television series and claimed that Israel is currently in a 'very bad season' of the series. According to him, the plot is not advancing and the situation is boring, especially in the context of the confrontation between the USA and Iran.

Zimri explained his words:

'There can be an excellent series that has a few boring episodes and a boring season. The series is excellent. We are now in a very bad season.'

He clarified that he meant a 'bad situation' in the sense of 'boring, the plot is not moving.' He even suggested:

'Give me such a plot all the time, where the USA confronts Iran, and we watch from the sidelines. That is, let's say, not a terrible plot.'

The discussion continued around the question of whether significant events are expected in the regional arena. Zimri also referred to things said by Moshe Cohen Elia in the past: 'Moshe, I am sure you said that nothing would happen until... until the midterms, right?'. He added that if something does happen, it will always be possible to claim that it was 'Trump's strategy'.
