Yisrael Beytenu Files Police Complaint Over Smear Campaign Targeting Lieberman
Yisrael Beytenu has filed a police complaint and petitioned the Central Election Committee over a smear campaign targeting party leader Avigdor Lieberman with anonymous Russian-language text messages.

Yisrael Beytenu filed a formal police complaint and an appeal with the Central Election Committee on Monday regarding a smear campaign targeting party leader Avigdor Lieberman. The party demands an immediate investigation to uncover the sources and funding behind the campaign.
According to the party's statement, anonymous SMS messages in Russian were widely distributed across Israel's Russian-speaking community in recent days. These messages contained a link to a website featuring defamatory and false content directed at Avigdor Lieberman and his family.
Following the distribution, Yisrael Beytenu took legal action by turning to the Israel Police and requesting a thorough investigation by the election authorities. The party aims to track down those responsible and put an end to the ongoing defamation.
