Yisrael Beiteinu threatens right-wing activist with lawsuit: "False claims"

The Yisrael Beiteinu party and its chairman, MK Avigdor Lieberman, sent a pre-litigation warning letter today (Monday) to right-wing activist Rami Ben Yehuda. The letter demands that Ben Yehuda remove a post he shared on the X network within 24 hours, cease its distribution, and publish a denial, correction, and apology.

Yisrael Beiteinu claims that the post included renewed allegations by Yossi Kamisa, including attributing to Lieberman involvement in ordering a murder and committing serious criminal offenses. According to the letter, these claims were already at the center of a legal proceeding, and Kamisa was convicted in a private criminal complaint filed against him in May 2025 for publishing lies.

The warning letter states that if Ben Yehuda does not remove the post and publish an apology as required, the party and Lieberman will take the legal measures available to them against him for defamation, without further notice. Yisrael Beiteinu stated: "The days when one could spread fabrications and lies and think there would be no price to pay are over. Whoever spreads libel will meet us in court."
