Golden State stunned Los Angeles with a 112-95 comeback victory in the NBA Cup on Friday night, erasing a 25-point first-quarter deficit. Luka Doncic and the Lakers dominated the opening frame, racing to a 38-15 lead with Doncic pouring in 21 points.

However, the Warriors roared back with a matching 38-15 surge in the second quarter and seized control after halftime. Stephen Curry highlighted the comeback in the third quarter by sending Doncic tumbling to the floor with a lethal crossover before draining a triple. Curry finished with 31 points, including eight three-pointers, and surpassed Dominique Wilkins to move into 18th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

Curry reflected on the memorable play after the final whistle:

"I was just trying to create some space for myself. I didn't expect it to end up looking quite that brutal. It's been a long time since I've been that wide open on the perimeter."

Despite Doncic leading all scorers with 37 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, the Lakers collapsed down the stretch as Golden State extended its winning streak to three games following a sluggish 0-3 start.
