First report: A surprising meeting was held on Sunday between MK Michael Biton of Blue and White and the chairman of the Zionist Reservists' Home party, Chili Tropper — this was learned today (Tuesday) by Walla. The meeting took place against the backdrop of the political crisis in which Benny Gantz finds himself, as he has not yet succeeded in joining other bodies in the political system. Among other things, the contacts are encountering difficulty surrounding Gantz's insistence on being in the first place on the joint list.

At the same time, the political future of other figures who were identified with Gantz is unclear. According to a report on Kan 11, Brigadier General (res.) Dadi Simhi, who announced he was joining Gantz, is also considering leaving the party. If Biton leaves, Gantz will be left only with MKs Pnina Tamano-Shata, Alon Schuster, and Yael Ron Ben-Moshe.

In light of this, MK Biton stated: "There was a meeting - Chili and I are friends, we meet with everyone and talk to everyone." Similarly, Tropper did not deny the very existence of the meeting: "Michael and I have been friends for years, and we meet on an ongoing basis."
